Enlighten Your Kids About Artificial Intelligence!
Summer Fun Has Just Begun with Hands-on STEM Camps!
Camp is a community away from home and school where kids learn to work with each other and adult mentors, build relationships and manage conflict. We offer educational opportunities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) that make learning and problem-solving fun and interactive.
PockeBot Camp (G3-G5)
Every week from Jun 8, 2020 to Jul 31, 2020
* Extended Care is available for
PockeBot is an online platform that integrates robotics and game technologies to teach students Computational Thinking, which is critical to problem solving in AI. The well-developed curriculum familiarizes students with visual programming techniques. Students progress through the lessons learning concepts in a game-like interface. After completing this course, students will be able to build a wide variety of simple programs with events, loops, and some conditional logic. Through the combination of robots and programming, the course allows children to learn computer thinking and artificial intelligence more efficiently and effectively
5D Innovation Leadership(L1 for G3-G5; L2 for G6-G8)
Every week from Jun 8, 2020 to Aug 14, 2020
* Extended Care is available for
Innovative leaders like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk think and do things in a certain way that leads to their successes and the world will changed by what they created. 5D Innovative Leadership takes students explore how their brains work, and summarizes their way of thinking and performing the 5D Innovative Leadership methodology: Discover Problems, Define Goals, Develop Solutions, Drive People and Deliver Results. This is a fundamental soft skill that will help students become better at solving all sorts of problem in their life, school or career in the future.
AI Auto course was developed by Google curriculum design experts, under the guidance of experts from the autonomous vehicle field in Silicon Valley and Artificial Intelligence (AI) professors from Stanford University. AI Auto Level 1 combines cutting-edge AI technologies, their applications in self-driving with project-based learning, to teach students what is AI, why and how they shall learn AI. Students will work as a team to assemble the vehicle, learn more about Python programming, and program to use the AI modules.
AI Auto course was developed by Google curriculum design experts, under the guidance of experts from the autonomous vehicle field in Silicon Valley and Artificial Intelligence (AI) professors from Stanford University. AI Auto Level 2 introduces more advanced topics in AI including Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc. Students will work with their teammates on bigger challenges to solve more complex problems. Through the courses and projects, students will improve their soft skills, including Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, etc. They will also have the opportunity to evaluate their level of interest in STEM for college and future careers.
* For 2-Week program, you can take home a New AI Auto Kit ($250 value) after the camp!
The AI era is here; the world is being changed by AI including future workforces. This course teaches students cutting edge AI technologies and their applications in the real world. However, just to understand the knowledge with the AI field is not enough, for students to be able to evaluate how their lives will be changed by AI and decide how to cope with such
changes, they need to acquire a fundamental soft skill that we call 5D innovative leadership. It is how innovative leaders like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk perceive and do things: Discover Problems, Define Goals, Develop
Solutions, Drive People and Deliver Results. The course integrates 5D and AI to guide student to use the thinking methodology to approach advanced topics in AI including Computer Visions, Machine Learning, Deep Learning.
